Judge's Critique

I had a lovely day with some wonderful exhibits, you read so many time some lovely exhibits go cardless and how true it was, I was really impressed and delighted to find that out breed is in a healthy state, so many lovely hounds but only five placings.

 

DCC and BOB Nedlaw Salamander; RDCC and BP Nedlaw Barbarian, BCC, RBIS and BOS Newlin Kerchief, RBCC Nictoney Symphony.

 

DOGS
V 1 Walkers’ Ch Whitewillow Rosper At Baraughgreen, lovely t/w carrying the right amount of weight, good head and expression, lovely reach of neck, good top line and tail carriage, lovely depth and length of ribbing, excellent angulation, keeps correct distance apart coming and going, rally uses his hocks, BV; 2 Turtons’ Tanglebrook Trooper, neat tri lovely head and expression, good length of neck, compact body, good tails et, lovely in front, good hind quarters; 3 Turtons’ Tanglebrook Tetley.

 

MP 1 Waldens’ Nedlaw Barbarian, caught my eye as soon as he came into the ring, what a lovely baby, excellent head with a melting expression, good length of neck, superb little body, good length of ribbing with lovely top line and tails et, comes towards you true, lovely hind angulation, what a future this young lad will have in front of him, delighted to give him RCC and BP; 2 Lewis’ Fallowfield Debonair, nice one, good proportions all round much of the above applies, just moving a bit closer behind; 3 Kemps’ Timamso Conquistador.

 

P 1 Hunts’ Bondlea Bradman, t/w good head nice reach of neck, body well proportioned, good top line held on the move, good tail set, comes towards you true and is v sound in hind angulation and drive; 2 Philpotts’ Maurella Cardinal From Charterwood, a nice one, lovely size, sweet head and expression, nice compact body, true coming towards you and going away, 1 was a bit more settled, I also liked 3 a lot, unfortunate to meet 1 and 2 in such good form; 3 Andersons’ Rossmaith Poacher.

 

J 1 Coxs’ Rosanka Milton Of Tudorcrest, t/w good masc head with nice reach of neck, body well proportioned, excellent spring of rib, lovely reach and drive, comes towards you v true; 2 Higgins’ Sweetwells Socrates, dk tri of good proportions, pleasing head and expression, square body with good tail set, moves with drive, 1 had better feet; 3 Lewis’ Fallowfield Demon.

 

M 1 N Barbarian.

 

N 1 Firths’ Nictoney Rapture, good head and reach of neck, good top line and tail set, excellent rear driving action, a bit longer in body than I like; 2 Walkers’ Molesend Dolerite Over Barughgreen, dk tri of good proportions, just mot as much drive as 1.

 

PG 1 Haslams’ Rossgay Rigsby, lovely head and expression, good reach of neck, lovely top line, stern well set, keeps equal distance apart coming and going, reaches and drives; 2 Parkins’ Flurries Brigand, good head and expression, lovely driving action, just needs to tighten in front; 3 Clarks’ Springholme Saxon.

 

L 1 Waldens’ Nedlaw Salamander, t/w of excellent proportions, lovely head and expression, good reach of neck, lovely compact body, good top line and tails et, good length and depth of ribbing, keeps equal distance apart coming and going, free moving hound with plenty of reach and drive, never put a foot wrong delighted to award him CC and BOB, well done; 2 Browns’ Raimex Theo, nice one, pleasing head and expression, good reach of neck, top line, tail set, good length of ribbing, sound on the move, unfortunate to meet 1 in such good form; 3 Lewis’ Fallowfield Sparrowgill Strider.

 

O 1 Pocklingtons’ Hall’s Macall Back To Zac, v well balanced, good reach of neck, good spring of rib, top line, tail set, given this class for his sound movement; 2 Hunts’ Bonlea Fable, t/w lovely sound d in all quarters, preferred the tail carriage of 1; 3 Murrays’ Ir Ch Timamso Wilfred.

 

BITCHES
V 1 Firths’ Ch Nictoney Hoodwink, lovely b at 11yrs old can still trundle around, lovely head and expression, good top line, good length and depth of ribbing, still reaches and drives on the move; 2 Ardens’ Newlin Almond At Madika, nice compact b, sweet head and expression, good length of neck, v sound coming and going; 3 Turtons’ Tanglebrook Rival.

 

MP excellent class, some lovely babies had to go cardless, thrilled with the quality throughout this class. 1 Lewis’ Fallowfield Delightful, lovely tan/w beautiful head and expression, good reach of neck, good top line and tail set, good lay of shoulder comes towards you true, excellent hind angulation, uses her hocks; 2 Browns’ Raimex Maisie, lovely again sweet head and expression, good reach of neck, lovely top line and tail set, moves well 1 just more settled; 3 Parkers’ Serenaker Femme Fatale.

 

P 1 Woods’ Marada Venus, lovely tri sweetest head and expression, good reach of neck, good top line held on the move, good length and depth of ribbing, keeps correct distance apart coming and going, moves with reach and drive, balanced throughout, one with a good future in front of her, BPB; 2 Butters’ Orchidvale Angelicca, lovely tan/w beautiful compact body with excellent length and depth of ribbing, good top line, sound on the move; 3 Firths’ Nictoney Rose.

 

J 1 Suttons’ Rossut Celia, beautiful tri of excellent proportions, lovely head, neck, top line, tail set, balanced throughout, movement v sound coming and going; 2 Calikes/Bradleys’ Newlin Osprey, lovely fem b excellent proportions, 1 just had the edge in movement; 3 Haslams’ Newlin Oatmeal At Rossgay.

 

M 1 R Maisie; 2 Haslams’ Rossgay Ribe, good head, neck and top line, nice throughout, just needs to settle into herself; 3 Alexanders’ Fallowfield Drizzle At Mailcom.

 

N 1 N Oatmeal At R, tan/w of lovely proportions, sweet head, good reach of neck, good top line, keeps equal distance apart coming and going; 2 Firths’ Nictoney Rose, I was nit picking between these two, much of the above applies; 3 Jones’ Kyledam Azalea Buttercup.

 

PG Beautiful class. 1 Browns’ Raime Kaira, lovely tri beautiful head and expression, good reach of neck, good top line held on the move, good tail set, beautifully balanced, lovely in front and hind movement; 2 Lees’ Nictoney Solitaire By Janlees, delightful lot of potential, good head, neck, top line, hind quarters, keeps good width apart coming and going; 3 Philpotts’ Golden Daffodil From Charterwood.

 

L Again spoilt for choice, some lovely b. 1 Calikes/Bradleys’ Newlin Kerchief, lovely tri, excellent head and expression, beautiful reach of neck, lovely top line held on the move, keeps good distance apart coming and going, reaches out and what excellent drive this b has really uses her hocks, strode around the ring, paints a really balanced picture, fem but could work all day, full of herself today and deserved her CC, RBIS and BOB; 2 Firths’ Nictoney Symphony, another nice one, dk tri lovely head, reach of neck, top line, has good hind angulation, unfortunate to meet 1 in such good form; 3 Findlays’ Rhiconich Blaeberry.

 

O 1 Davies’ Ch Seevad High Fashion, sweet tri lovely head and expression, good reach of neck, top line, tail set, keeps equal distance apart coming and going; 2 Kemps’ Timamso Laetitia, lovely tan/w good head and expression, uses the ring, nit picking to find my winner; 3 Caples’ Kenmill To Minuet Of Morsefield. B 1 N Solitaire By J; 2 Smiths’ Macall Misty Day, lovely tri full of confidence, surprised how sound she was when I went over her, handler lets her down; 3 Bones’ Dialynne Shelaft Calico.
